Hello Sven and everyone. It's been a couple of months since I last looked
at the web page. Does anyone know where Bill Ellis is? I know he
joined the Air Force and was stationed at WPAFB until around 1995, but that's
where the trail ends. If anyone has any info, please email it to me.
Thank you.

y'know, if i was a moderately more responsible person, i would've backed-up my address book before i sold my old mac and not lost sven's e-mail address... well, anyway, i know where to find him now... ; )
i believe at one point that i was the *last* person from class of '80 to remain single--now even that record has been broken... i met my wife,
paula, on aol (believe it or not!), and we eloped to niagara falls last year... and we're still happy!
just found out about the august reunion. we'll see everyone there! send me some e-mail, and i'll respond and i'll also try not to lose your address!! - mk ; )

Hi Everybody! It is so great to see what everyone has been up to, it makes me anxious to see everybody. I have been managing the Warner Bros. store in the Beavercreek Mall for the past 5 years and I love it when I see people from our class and others from school! Especially when they have the whole family in tow! Most recently, I got to see Teresa Erwin and sister Debbie, both beautiful as ever! Unfortunately, I seem to only recognize the girls (sorry guys, you just look so different). It is so strange, when I started working at WB I thought that I would see all kinds of faces from the past, it's just not so, just a few. I see from the guestbook and hear from Susie that a ton of you are still in the area, so come visit! Bring the kids! Well anyway, before WB I worked for 9 years in the modeling and talent agency business, working in San Jose, Toronto, Charlotte and Raleigh. Before that I graduated with a BS in Design from Univ. of NC at Greensboro. I don't have any children but, I have two adorable kitties Derek and Max. I love to swing dance and travel. I was looking through my senior scrapbook the other day and was amazed at how young everybody looked. I saved all the newspaper articles from band and football and chuckled when I saw that Joe N. had signed his name by all of his pictures, it took me back to the day he did that in home
ec., also I have a picture of Jacqui M. walking out of the lake soaking wet on senior skip day, seems like yesterday. I would love to hear from any of my buddies! It is my hope that everbody will be able to come to the reunion! Big, Big thanks to Sven and Susie and everybody working on the reunion!

It is really interesting seeing what everyone has been doing for the last 20 years. After I graduated from WSU in 1984 I went into computer consulting and worked in several major cities from Detroit to Tampa. In 1990, while working a contract in Greensboro, NC., I decided I needed an change and became a police officer. I spent 8 years on patrol working public housing and spent five of those years as a member of the K9 unit. I began teaching at the Police Academy in 1995. I was promoted in 1998 and I currently supervise my agency's (Kannapolis Police Department, NC) community service unit and the K9 Unit. I am married to Steve Canzona who is from California. He is also a police officer and works at a school for high risk kids. We don't have any children but we have two dogs, one a retired police K9 and the other a beagle. I would like to here from you guys, I have lost touch with everyone since I left in 84.

* How'd You Find Me? *
What a bunch of world travellers in here! I got my doctorate in psychology in 1989, finished my internship in Indiana, then set up practice on the Mississippi in Illinois and Iowa the next 5 years. I married my wife, Laura, in 1992 after a wildly romantic interlude on the brain injury unit (she was a speech-pathologist there, not a patient, I swear). We moved to Albuquerque in 1994, and I am in private practice specializing in clinical &
neuropsychology. Laura changed careers and is a graphic designer for the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. On the weekends, we spend our time hiking in the mountains and canyons in New Mexico. Hope to make it there for the reunion!

Hey Everyone!
I've finally gotten a chance to sit down and sign the gusetbook(Procrastination is still one of my strong suits). Actually, with two children 4 yrs. and 8 months, not much time left for anything else. It seems by the entries everyone has been in the same boat!
Well, to give a bio- I've been married now for 6 wonderfully grueling years to Kelly, a fellow buckeye. Our dating was tough due to my living here in Macon and she in Rochester, NY, but somehow it lasted. We got married in Dayton, and settled in the "Deep South" because it was more humid! My daughter Kayla Nichole is a joy, and Andrew Ryan is crawling and getting into trouble as usual for 8 month olds.
I hope to see everyone at the reunion. The BIG 20!!!!

So...here's the scoop...
I'm still in Fairborn, single (at the moment), no children, and working as the Systems Analyst for the School of Systems and Logistics - Air Force Institute of Technology. Can you imagine...me...a computer geek! (no offense to my fellow geeks out there!) Other than work and all the continuing ed. I enjoy working around my house and riding around the country with a friend on the back of a Honda

So, music is still a substantial part of my life. I will be at the reunion and look very forward to it.

Hi everyone! I read an article in the Courier newspaper that talked about high school alumni on the web and found
this site. Great site, a lot of work has really been put
into the site. I was known as the quiet one. I finished my
last two years at GVS, majoring in High Skill Stenography.
I married Donny (also a PHHS grad.) in 1981. We've been blessed with two sons, Jason born in 1984 and Alan born in
1985. I enjoyed staying at home with the boys for a long time. I became a non-traditional student and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. I work for Children's
Medical Center, and I'm persuing a degree in Social Work.
I lived in Fairborn until 1997, then moved to Huber Heights. I was at the five yr. reunion, but missed the ten
year. I liked reading about everyone and what how our lives have changed since high school. Life after high school is great!

Hello everyone! It was so fun to read everyone's entry. My hat's off to you Sven for doing such a great job with the website. It's hard to believe, let alone actually admit that it has been 20 years. So many things have happened to us since graduation;
marriage, careers and families. It will be fun to catch up with one another. Just a reminder to some, I married Dan
Mevis (a 1979 Park Hills Grad). We've been married for 17 years now. Dan did a stint in the Air Force for 10 years, we were stationed at Myrtle Beach AFB for the first three years then returned to Wright Pat. He finished his Electrical Engineering degree at Wright State and now works for Reynolds and Reynolds as a computer network engineer. We have 2 "children". Kristin is 19 and already out on her own! Aaron (our baby!) is sixteen and towers over Dan and me at 6 foot tall! After the kids were older, I too went back to school and became a nurse. I now work in a medical intensive care unit at Grandview Hospital. Most of what spare time I have, I spend landscaping and gardening our home. I really love it. Well anyway, Hope to see everyone at the reunion!

I was told I should add some narrative so here goes - I'm actually a grad of the class of 1979 and really didn't even get to do that. Being an Air Force child I had to move in the middle of my
junior year. Of course it was a "snow day" that day and I didn't even get the
chance to say "goodbye". No snow days in sunny California. Family moved to San Jose and I experienced intense culture shock. "Toto, I don't think
we're in Fairborn anymore". Graduated and went right into the work world. Have been working in accounting/bookkeeping ever since. Mainly with different construction companies.
Bought a small house in Morgan Hill (20 miles south of San Jose)and proceeded to fill the place with two large dogs and several cats. Not many people have the privilege
of living alone in this valley as housing prices are astronomical. Can you believe a one bedroom cottage (700 square feet) recently sold for 1/2 million dollars? Yes, it's insane.
Forgot to get married and forgot to have children. There is still plenty of time, right? I have been back to Ohio for two reunions but not the last one. Still have lots of family in the Dayton and
Cinci. area. And that's my story - it's not a great one, but it's mine! Anyone else in California? Love to
hear from you.

But, I quit my job and am now in my second year of law school at the University of Dayton--I hope maybe to practice probate and estate law (wills and trusts!), and maybe some Elder law (keep old folks from being fleeced). I still sing and do theater type stuff when life permits. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in Aug, 2000! Sven gets all the credit for this entry. He found me the day after our second child was born, I thought he was calling to offer congrats! I am now an Episcopal priest and on staff at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, PA. There I am the Canon for Christian Formation. After leaving PHHS, I went to college, taught school inlcuding stints at a borading school and as a vice principal. After becoming very involved with youth work in my church, I went to seminary in NYC and was ordained in 1995. Along the way, I met and married James Peck. Jim and I have been married 11 years and have 2 daughters, Sophia who is 2 and Lucy who is now 1 month. Jim is a professional theater director and college professor so I still have strong ties to the stage. And our friends are quick to point out the similarities between the church and the theater so there you go. I do a lot of work with education and children's ministries and have a book of children's prayers being published fall of 2000. So a lot has happened since our 10th reunion. It is great to hear what everyone is up to and am looking forward to 20!

Oh PLEASE don't show my graduation picture. After all these years I still can't stand it. I'll send an updated version soon. Besides, whenever I run into a classmate they always say "you look the same." Same hair (the gray now covered), same glasses (a bit more stylish), same size (damn!). Any way, life has been good to us. (I married Monty Lynch, a Baker grad in '83) We just recently moved to Beavercreek after living in Kettering over 15 years. I am a Realtor and co-own my company and Monty works for Delphi. We are blissfully happy (somebody pinch me) and because we chose not to have children, haven't aged much. At least not in our own minds. I think we really NEED to attend the reunion and see classmate's family pictures to get a dose of reality. Maybe even see some of your "teenagers" at the picnic. We do have several nieces and nephews and now a "great" nephew so bring those babies. We'll spoil them wrotten and give 'em back to ya. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. Hey, everyone. Great job on the web page, Sven! It was really nice to see what everybody has been up to. I ran into Susie (McClellan) Heimbach the other day and she told me about the web site, and Karen Bishop) Hawkins gave me the address. I didn't go to the 10-year reunion because I really didn't know many of my classmates all that well since I only went to PH my sophomore year, then on to
GJVS, but am looking forward to the 20-year. I can't believe it has been that long. I don't feel that old!!!
I am still living in Fairborn. I have been married for almost 16 years to a wonderful guy named Rick that I met in, of all places, a singles bar where I used to DJ (on Friday the 13th, no less). We have Robert Winn & his wife beat. We only dated 3 weeks and are still very happily married. We have two daughters,
Kacie, 12, and Brittany, 8. I attended Sinclair part-time for a while as a computer science major, but dropped out after getting married. I worked at
W-PAFB for about 9 years (hated it), then got a job with the City of Fairborn. I have been there 10 years and really love my job - I am a construction inspector. A far cry from being a computer programmer, but then I always liked being outside, anyway.

Highlights: Married, had a baby, moved to Mississippi, moved to South Carolina, moved to London England, moved to Waynesboro PA. WORK: Physician offices, American Embassy UK, Defence Attache Office, Command, Naval Activities London, A Physician Hospial Organization and now, Registration Supervisor, Waynesboro Hospital. Pretty much enjoy everything I did when I was young, just can't do it as fast or as long. My husband and I now have 4 dogs since we suffer from the empty-nest syndrome. 2 black chows, one lhaso apso and a beagle. Enough for now. I will see everyone at the class reunion. LEXIS/NEXIS headquartered in Dayton. I really enjoyed the creative challenges required of Marketing, but after the birth of my second child I found I had even greater challenges ahead! So for now, my career is on hold, and I am busier than ever with my three daughters: Kaitlin (9), Korinne (6) and Brooke (4). My husband, Kevin, is a wonderful guy I met at OU ('82
BBA, '84 MBA). He's very successful in his career as a Financial Advisor with American Express, and therefore is awarded each year by the company with some very nice travel awards...the most recent being to Italy in May. Although I am not working for
LEXIS/NEXIS anymore, I am very active in my community and in my daughters' activities. I also volunteer for the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center as a presenter on the Speakers' Bureau and am also a member of the Steering Committee. The museum will be a great tourist attraction in Cincinnati and will be located by the Ohio River near the new stadiums. The projected completion date is 2003. I'd love to hear more about the reunion and am willing to help out. Have any decisions been made? Sven, I thought it was wonderful that your wife is a songwriter. Kevin's cousin is a well-known songwriter in the industry with many #1 hits! I'd be curious to know if she has heard of her! E-mail me...I don't want to be a name dropper!

This is a great website Sven, you've done a terrific job! It's fun to see the old pictures and read up on what everyone's been doing for the past 20 (Oh My GOD!) years. So here goes my contribution ~ I am recently divorced after 16 years and have 3 beautiful children. Chris 13, Nick 9, and Katie 7. I work at The Children's Medical Center in Dayton in an office and help out in the ER
occasionally. Missed the 10 year reunion, but very much looking forward to the 20 year reunion. See you in 2000!

I love this website. It's totally cool. After graduation I moved to N.C., studied respiratory therapy for a while, moved to Victorville, CA, did a little bit of college musicals, and moved back to North Carolina. I graduated in 89 with a BA in Biology from Belmont Abbey College in N.C. I married a German. We have three children, Phillip (10), Tiffany (8) and Patrick (4). I teach pre-school and stay busy with the kids' soccer, boy-scouts, and girl-scouts. We now live in the Chicago area.
Dave Henderson (class of 79) sent me the link. I met with him and Pam when they moved back to Wisconsin. I am looking forward to see many of you at the 20 year reunion.

Hi Folks!!!! I have yet to make any sort of reunion. I've been in the Air Force for 17
years, been to Desert Storm, Korea twice, Georgia, and New Mexico again for the second
time. I've been married and divorced, and am getting another one right now. I've got four
kids with three women; Aubrey, 17, in VA, Rissa, 14, and Jesse, 13, live with me, and
Michaela, 4, here in Alamogordo, NM. I've kept in touch with Kathy Flatter and she
forwarded the link to me, so you can argue if I got it by link or word of mouth. I used to
come up to Fairborn farily regularly since I had to get my kids from their mother in Huber
Heights, but I don't have to anymore. I ran into Greg Saxon (Class of '83 I think) when I
deployed to Southern Watch in Saudi in 94 and again at Nellis AFB, NV while I was TDY
there. I'd love to hear from anyone, anyone at all! Have a good one, all!!!

Great to see those happy faces in the web pictures. Nice goin' Sven!
Well, here's my scoop to add to the roster. I served as an Air Force Officer for 4 years
in coastal New Hampshire, then moved to beautiful San Francisco in 1991 for a job
opportunity--but mainly to ski powder at Lake Tahoe on the weekends. (8 years & no
major earthquakes, so far . . .)
Enjoying life at Levi Strauss Global Hdqtrs, 7-plus years now, in Men's SilverTab Design,
and Product Development. (. . . I'm just making up for all that time in uniform, I suppose
. . .) You can check out our great websites at www.levi.com. L.S.&CO is still going
strong world-wide, no matter how the news stories read. But, can you believe the clothes
the kids are wearing these days?? Did we really look like that in the '70s??
A brand new bride, I'm married to Nick Hart, an '80 grad from Los Altos Hills, California.
I sure hope our high school reunions don't overlap. We'd have to toss a coin, or
something! My husband is an engineer in Silicon Valley, and newlywed-life is marvelous. We
attribute much of our momentous San Francisco wedding to a-little-help-from-our-friends, .
. . two wonderful '80 grads and their families. Cindy (Kirk) Gaboury was woman-of-honor,
her daughter Heather, a lovely flower girl, and son Sean a stunning altar boy. And Julie
(Nuteson) Stanton's cutie-pies, Beth & Tori, were adorable in our trail of (eleven)
flower girls. So great to have them, & many Ohio friends and family all out here to
celebrate. What a blast!
To fill up that void left from those grand old Viking Guard days, I'm skiing, ice-skating,
playing harp, and teaching Sunday School.
Hope to see you all at the 20-year. Please feel free to drop me an e-mail. From the
guestbook, looks like we almost have enough PHHS grads to have another reunion out here in
California :>)

After graduating from the Air Force Academy (1 year behind Greg Johnson) I got out of the

fact I was out that way (Columbus) for my sister Diane's wedding in April '98, and again
in July to see family, Tara (Studebaker) Spalla, and the D'Epiros. I happened to be in town
for my brother Steve's class of '78 20 yr reunion so I went to their pic-nic with him and
had a wonderful time. So good to catch up with many and see so many familiar faces! :) It
is always nice to visit Ohio, but I'm a California gal now...nothing beats the sun &
beach. :) We had a 'familiar face' visiting us the week before christmas...Greg Johnson
stopped in to stay the night...don't know how he manages all he does with being a new NASA
dude but it was sure nice to see him.
I'm busily enjoying myself these days...don't ask me what I'm doing...a little this, a
little that, travel here, travel there, a class here, substituting life guarding there,
however, it was nice to stop in to walk down memory lane from Park Hills and see all the
pic's from those who have previously signed in. When Robert and I were in town in April we
went to PHHS and walked the halls and it blew our minds:). We hadn't been there since '80!

Hi everyone! I had a great time at the mini reunion. I was married for 17 years and am now
divorced. My kids are a junior and senior in high school and are great. I work at Bank One
- PLCS in Kettering. Susie Heimbach gave me the info on this web page and I love the fact
that we can keep in contact with our friends from school. I really look forward to seeing
everyone at the 20 year reunion. Take care and enjoy living until then.

Hey, Sven! This web site is a great idea!
Had a nice time at the Class of '80 get-together. After
finishing the Ph.D. and teaching a year at UD, I've moved
to Oxford for a tenure-track position with MU's Systems
Analysis department. Still single after all these years.
Still playing the occasional gig but not as much I before
(no time any more). Teaching Artificial Intelligence and
Computer Architecture. Doing some research and publishing
papers journal articles -- the usual prof stuff.
Look forward to hearing from my old classmates!

Well, how've you been? Thanks for dropping by. Leave a message for someone or impart your
thoughts on life, liberty and happiness.
Personally, I'd like to know what these people are up to:
Anne (Kitch), Greg Johnson, Martin Strnat, Mike Yokell, Frank Moore, Jana (Inwood),
Cindy McDonald, and everybody else I used to
hang out with.
.....So, don't just do something...sit here!
